Marshalls Fans Can Now Shop Online — Finally

[RETHINK Retail] — It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for: Marshalls customers can now purchase from a wide selection of designer clothing, footwear and accessories sold at discounted prices, from the comfort of their homes. Launched, on Sep 24, the new website features curated shops and a constant stream of daily designer items.

“We are thrilled to introduce Marshalls.com, which allows customers to shop Marshalls anytime,” said Mark DeOliveira, executive vice president of TJX Digital U.S., in a company statement. “This site will feature a unique assortment of the brands and values that Marshalls is known for, and also offer customers the ability to shop through fun, interactive features and curations. We are excited for customers to experience the brand in this new way.”

Unlike traditional retailers, Marshalls offers a steady stream of new items that don’t conform to seasonal cycles and thus customers can always find something new to purchase, creating a “treasure hunt” shopping experience. The company is able to provide lower priced merchandise by purchasing overstock or out of season items.

Marshalls’ new website offers several features:

  • Swipe to Shop, a mobile friendly way for shoppers to browse through merchandise quickly. Customers can also buy or save items for later.
  • Curated shops, give shoppers access to specified items in similar categories, making it easier for customers to find related items. The three shops are Fall Style Shop, The Designer Shop and Made in Italy.
  • Influencer + Shopper Finds, designed to link customers to similar products and categories, a shoppers to find products they may be interested in.

In addition to apparel and accessories, the website also offers pet supplies, home accessories, home related books and kitchenware.

Marshalls has been in the market for over 40 years and is one of the leading off-price family retailers in the U.S., selling high quality designer and brand name merchandise at low prices, according to the company statement. Their merchandise is generally 20% to 60% below traditional retailers.

Marshalls has over 1,100 stores nationwide and in Puerto Rico. They are part of The TJX Companies Inc, the largest off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions worldwide, with over 4,300 stores in nine countries, according to a company statement. The company includes T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Sierra, and Homesense.
